CalorieCruncher respects your privacy. This policy explains how your data is handled.
All health data you create (meal photos, nutrition analysis, food logs, and your settings) is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (localStorage). This data is not collected, stored, or indexed on any server by us.
When you snap or upload a photo of a meal, that photo is sent to the Google Gemini API (via our serverless proxy) solely for the purpose of estimating calories and nutritional breakdown. The photo is processed in order to provide the requested nutrition analysis and is not used for any other purpose. Google's Gemini API data handling terms apply to this transmission; we do not collect, sell, or share your photos with any third party for advertising or any unrelated purpose.
This app does not use cookies, analytics services, or any form of user tracking. No personal information is sent to third parties other than the photo-processing described above.
This app uses the Google Gemini generative AI service to analyze food photos. It does not integrate any analytics, advertising, or other data collection services.
You can delete any logged meal at any time from within the app. To remove all data, clear your browser's local storage or uninstall the app.
